John Sanders and Jacob Glen daybook, 1752-1777.

Daybook kept first by Glen but mostly by Sanders (1752-1777). Entries record retail sales of general merchandise such as cornel, iron, steel, fabrics, tea, rum, salt, clothing, spices, gunpowder, tar, tobacco pipes, salt fish, and beef, often in exchange for wheat and peas. Sanders' numerous customers were residents of Schenectady and the Mohawk River Valley.
